Update 3rd April

David Kelly and Jonathon and Tish Murtagh were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Mattimoe's. The house prize was won by Sylvia Tighe. The jackpot wasn’t won. It will be at €1,300 for the next draw on Saturday April 8th which will be held in Scanlon's Bar, with Team B in charge. 

The Cooney Motors/Centra sponsored juniors were defeated by Tulsk in the Division five on Saturday evening last.

The McGovern Directional Drilling sponsored seniors play Michael Glavey's in the O'Gara Cup on Saturday April 8th in Ballinlough at 5:30pm.

The minors defeated Western Gaels in the league on Sunday last. The u-14 division 4 team play Eire Og on Thursday April 6th in the Abbey Paek at 7pm. The u-16 team play Strokestown on Sunday April 9th in the Abbey Park at 11pm.

Preparations are almost finalised for the trip to Dublin on Friday next by our Club supporters and friends. Those who have indicated their intention to travel will be contacted and provided with precise details over the next few days. The pick up point will be Abbey Park. The Club will provide light refreshments in the Clubroom at 8am, with departure at 8.15am. The tour of Croke Park Museum will commence circa 11.30. Next stop will be Leinster House at 2.30pm. There are a small number of places left. Anyone wishing to travel should contact the organisers immediately.


Boyle GAA Nursery Programme 
The Nursery Programme has now completed it second Block, which has been a great success. Thanks to all of the coaches/organising committee for their effort and dedication. 
 The girls and boys are developing lots of new skills and of course they are having great fun. We wish all the girls and boys who are moving up to their under age team the best of luck and look forward to seeing them play for the Club in the future.
Details on the next block will be announced over the coming weeks.


There will be a club executive meeting Thursday April 6th in the clubrooms at 8:30pm.
Best wishes to Boyle Celtic in their FAI Junior Cup semi-final on Sunday April 9th at 3pm. They play Evergreen FC in Showgrounds, Sligo

LADIES FOOTBALL: 

U16 girls lost to a very strong Clann na nGael team in Johnstown on Sunday. U16s Division 1 Championship semi-final, Sunday 9th April, details tbc. 

Ladies League: Away to St. Barrys Sunday 9th April. Well done to Aisling Feely who captained the Roscommon U14 Ladies team on Friday. Also well done to Sinead Glennon; Aine Mullins, Roisin Wynne and the Roscommon Minor team who defeated Leitrim last Friday evening.
