Chris Callan,
Bernard Furey and Evelyn O'Donnell were €20 winners at the most recent
Club Lotto draw which was held in the Craoibhin Bar. The
jackpot wasn’t won. It will be at €1,400 for the next draw on Saturday Aug
4th which will
be held in Clarke's Bar.
The Cooney
Motors/Centra play Kilglass Gaels in the Division 5 league on Saturday Aug 5th
at 7pm in the Abbey Park.
The club is
asking who ever borrowed or otherwise the big grey bench from outside the
old dressing room to return it please.
The minors played St. Faithleach's last week in
division 3 championship and the game ended in a draw. They now play
Kilglass Gaels/St. Barry's Thursday Aug 3rd in Tarmonbarry at 7:30pm.
LADIES FOOTBALL:
Intermediate Ladies lost to Western Gaels by 2
points. U15 girls play Shannon Gaels in the final of the Sean Daly Cup.
